Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support human resources onboarding activities
  • Audit paperwork and reports
  • Support employee engagement activities
  • Assist and/or create presentations and message for employee communications
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions
  • Take part in formal and informal training opportunities
  • Measure and report on projects
  • Support with employee safety protocol documentation
  • Research and/or support on future projects
  • Learn internal software and tools required for this role
  • Back-up staff and perform general office duties
  • With the general knowledge of coworker(s) responsibilities and processes, this role also has the ability to effectively step in as a backup or use a team approach to complete tasks during coworker(s) absence.   

Your Qualifications

  • Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in human resource, marketing, business, or a related field
  • Successful completion of introductory courses in human resources, marketing, business, or equivalent
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to function as a team member in a group environment, and communicate with all levels of the department and organization
  • Strong desire to make a difference on our team by applying new skills and bringing new perspectives
  • Confidentiality is a must
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
