Position Overview

Co-Investment Analysts support investment teams by evaluating, executing, and monitoring direct co-investment opportunities alongside private equity and alternative asset sponsors. The role blends financial modeling, transaction analysis, and due diligence in a deal-driven environment.

These roles often involve close collaboration with senior investment professionals, external sponsors, legal advisors, and portfolio company management teams.


Key Responsibilities

Evaluate co-investment opportunities across private equity, growth equity, and other alternative strategies
Build and analyze detailed financial models, including LBO and operating models
Conduct commercial, financial, and industry due diligence on prospective investments
Review sponsor materials, investment memos, and transaction documentation
Assist in preparing internal investment memoranda and presentations for investment committees
Support transaction execution, including coordination with legal, tax, and external advisors
Monitor portfolio company performance, KPIs, and valuation metrics
Assist with ongoing portfolio reporting and re-underwriting efforts
Track market trends, deal activity, and sponsor performance


Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
Strong interest in private equity, direct investing, and transaction execution
Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation, and deal structures
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data tools or VBA is a plus
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a deal-oriented environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ownership mindset
