Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field.
- Qualified Health Professional (QHP) with a minimum of five years of supervisory experience required.
- Advanced CASAC preferred.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
Job Summary
In alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values, the Co- Director of Residential Services is responsible for the leadership, oversight, and success of the agency’s residential programming. This position ensures the effective delivery of clinical and operational services, regulatory compliance, staff development, and achievement of program goals across residential operations.
Program Operations & Compliance
- Develop and maintain standards for program planning, implementation, evaluation, and performance.
- Oversee day‑to‑day clinical operations, including therapeutic group/individual services and Provider scheduling.
- Monitor timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly task lists, reports, and required statistics.
- Ensure documentation meets agency and regulatory requirements.
- Achieve established program goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Participate in the program’s on‑call rotation.
Staff Leadership & Development
- Provide and/or ensure weekly clinical supervision for staff.
- Direct staff in timely, high‑quality electronic medical record documentation and care‑coordination workflows.
- Manage and oversee the Master Staffing Schedule to ensure accuracy of scheduled and actual staff hours.
- Recruit, screen, interview, and train new staff; ensure timely completion of orientation requirements.
- Assess staff training needs and coordinate applicable training.
- Support ongoing professional development and clinical growth of program staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
- Facilitate motivational team‑building activities and group supervision sessions.
Program Oversight & Community Engagement
- Maintain awareness of agency developments, program needs, and community resources.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, referral sources, and service agencies.
- Conduct monthly reviews of residential program events, developments, and progress toward agency goals.
- Lead and participate in general staff meetings, in‑service trainings, supervisory meetings, and management meetings.
Crisis Response & Safety
- Respond effectively to crisis and emergency situations to ensure the safety and well‑being of clients and staff.
Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
