My client is hiring a Setup person for Swiss Star machine’s (SA12/16, SR20R, SR20J & SR10J Types ). Will watch over a few machines that are running including support around that.

CNC Machinist will perform machining operations on a range of projects.The ideal candidate will have experience as a CNC Operator or other Machine Operator.To succeed in this role, you will possess skills in reading prints, CNC machining, Numerical Control programming, and the operation of various CNC machines.Responsibilities include setting up machines and performing machining operations in accordance with drawings and specifications.Successful applicants must have superior attention to detail, problem-solving skills, manual dexterity and the ability to work on their own initiative.
Responsibilities:
·Perform basic set-up and machining operations on machine tools using hand and/or power tools.
·Create tooling fixtures and production jigs.
·Follow blueprints and engineering specifications to produce parts in various materials with high degree of accuracy.
·Maintain necessary shop records, including detailed documentation of all parts and equipment.
·Set up and operate various types of machinery, such as lathes, mills and drill presses to produce desired products.
·Follow safety procedures and use all appropriate safety equipment.
·Maintain inventory of raw materials and work orders, prepare blueprints and machine instructions for shift workers.
·Participate in production activities with other departments (e.g. assembly).
