CNC SWISS MACHINIST (SET-UP)

Set-up and operation of all machining functions, to include bar feeder (DECO 2000, Nakamura, STAR ST38 and SR20). Requires 2 years minimum of set-up experience on multi axis CNC lathes. Machine quality high precision components. Inspect, interpret and apply customer drawings. Understand and interpret customer drawings. Apply to program, set-up and inspection. Have a working knowledge of different symbols and indicators of measurement on quality standards. Geometric tolerancing knowledge. Inspect parts to ensure accuracy of parts to customer drawing. Provide 1st piece inspection. Provide in-process inspection on a daily basis. Offset, program edit, general maintenance and tool changes. Adjust and fine tune running machines; when necessary. Provide maintenance (filling oil tank, way lube, etc). Replace broken or worn tools, drills, etc. Set-up Bar feed, machine, collet and bushing, gang and power tools, front drilling, C-spindle and ejector pin, back tools. Understand and set-up bar feeder.
