CNC Swiss Machinist / Programmer
ISO 13485 certified and FDA registered Medical Device Company that manufactures and distributes medical device products and systems for surgeons; specifically implants and devices.
The company is currently seeking a CNC Swiss Machinist / Programmer with experience programming and producing complex parts in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
Duties:
- Setup and Operate 5 axis VMC’s and Mill/Turn
- Setup and Operate Swiss Style Lathes
- Program and troubleshoot NC programs and equipment
- Participate in process validation and equipment qualification activities
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Complete required quality system documents accurately
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Experience operating and programming CNC Mills, Lathes, and/or Mill/Turn machines
- Experience with using CAM software to produce NC programs
- Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, i.e. Aerospace, Medical, Automotive
- Ability to interpret complex product drawings
- Basic computer skills, Word, Excel, etc
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical field experience preferred but not required.
Required Education Level:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
