Job Title: Swiss CNC Machinist
Shift: 1st / 2nd (5% Diff) / 3rd (10% Diff)

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Swiss CNC Machinist to support precision machining operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires experience with Swiss-style CNC machines, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss (sliding headstock) CNC machines and related secondary equipment
- Perform in-process quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Utilize proper gaging, hand tools, and metrology equipment to maintain high-quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job layouts
- Follow written and verbal work instructions for machining operations
- Support production goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency
- Provide feedback to engineering and planning teams to improve productivity and processes
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing and 5S practices
- Communicate effectively with team members to support production and resolve issues
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience, preferably in Swiss-style or lathe environments
- Experience with sliding headstock or Swiss-type machines preferred
- Familiarity with multi-spindle machining or cam-driven equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of special materials and heat-treating processes (e.g., annealing) preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Strong time management and ability to work in a production-driven environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing setting
