Responsibilities
- Create and edit CNC programs for machining operations using FANUC-controlled equipment
- Support machining operations on equipment including SNK, Okuma, Fadal, and Yama Seiki machines
- Read and interpret customer drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate part production
- Assist machinists with program adjustments, setup support, and troubleshooting when needed
- Verify programs and make necessary edits to ensure parts meet dimensional requirements
- Maintain organized program files and documentation
- Review daily production priorities to help support efficient workflow
- Work with production and quality teams to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Follow all quality control (QC) policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned within the CNC Programmer role
- Basic experience programming or editing programs for CNC machines with FANUC controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Understanding of basic machining processes such as milling, drilling, and boring
- Familiarity with G-code and CNC machine operations
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with machinists and production staff
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school training or coursework in Machining or Manufacturing Technology preferred
- 1–3 years of CNC programming or CNC machining experience preferred
- Experience with FANUC controls preferred
