- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience required, ideally within a machining or manufacturing environment.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in GibbsCAM and AutoCAD is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced ability to read and comprehend complex blueprints, models, and technical drawings.
- Proficient in performing complicated math functions and precision measurements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve programming or machining issues.
- CNC Program Development: Develop and refine CNC programs primarily using GibbsCAM, supported by AutoCAD and AutoCAD Inventor.
- Technical Instruction: Create detailed machine instructions for lathes, mills, and multi-axis machining centers.
- Model Translation: Accurately translate intricate product designs and computer models into functional manufacturing instructions.
- Quality Assurance & Precision: Use advanced math and measurement skills to ensure the precision of complex projects and monitor output for quality.
- Process Optimization: Recommend specific tooling and create improved work processes to increase manufacturing efficiency and reduce defects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with managers, machinists, and processors to establish best practices and ensure all delivery timelines are met.
- Workspace Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation in accordance with company safety standards.
