Pay range: $40 - $48 Per hour
Summary:
- Accountable for developing work holding fixtures, CNC programs, and tool layouts to support the implementation of new equipment in a factory setting.
- Focus on converting products from a manual operation to CNC automation utilizing Okuma horizontal mills machines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the ramp-up of new CNC equipment by creating programs and work holding fixtures.
- Identify and order new tooling for the creation or improvement of programs as required.
- Design new jigs, tools, fixtures, and provide technical direction to production personnel.
- Supervise the validation of new program roll-out and communicate the process effectively with engineers, quality, and production personnel.
- Collaborate daily with manufacturing engineers concerning machining and operational challenges.
- Highlight quality problems relative to the conversion of products to CNC-based machining and provide technical direction to implement corrective actions and error-proofing.
- Train CNC machine operators on new machining technologies as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with proven ability writing programs for CNC machining centers and developing work holding fixtures.
- 4 years of experience in supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using SolidWorks, Mastercam, AutoCad, and G-code.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

- 7 years of experience with proven ability writing programs for CNC machining centers and developing work holding fixtures.
- 5 years of experience in supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Experience programming Okuma horizontal machining centers.
- Union experience.
