Our client is an established industrial manufacturing operation seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join their production team in the greater Raleigh, NC area. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience running CNC lathes and mills, a sharp eye for quality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment. Job Responsibilities -

- Operate CNC lathes and mills on day shift to produce parts that meet quality and dimensional standards.

- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments to support varying production runs.

- Verify part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.

- Interpret and apply G and M code to support program modifications and basic machine-level troubleshooting.

- Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets and communicate issues that impact output.

- Handle materials safely using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.

- Work across both metric and standard measurement systems as job requirements dictate.

- Adhere to all safety standards and company policies throughout every shift.



Job Requirements -

- 3+ years of hands-on experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a production or job shop environment.

- Proficiency with precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Working knowledge of G and M code; FANUC experience is a strong plus.

- Ability to perform independent machine setups, including tool loading and touch-off procedures.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

- Able to lift 50+ lbs. consistently and safely operate material handling equipment.

- Dependable team player with strong communication skills and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
