Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Operator/Programmer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Operating and programming CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
2. Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
3. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
4. Preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto the machines.
5. Supervising the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
6. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
7. Testing operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
8. Maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.
9. Troubleshooting and repairing machine problems.
10. Adhering to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer.
2. Extensive knowledge and practical experience with CNC programming and operations.
3. Proficiency in using HAAS control systems.
4. The ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
5. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
6. Good communication abilities.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot as needed.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. The ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
10. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree from a technical college would be a plus.
