CNC Operator/Machinist

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Odessa, TX. This position requires at least 1 year of experience operating CNC Lathe machines in a manufacturing or machining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Mazak machines and oilfield-related components such as drill pipe. Experience with rotary shoulder connections is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC Lathe machines to machine parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders
• Load materials and monitor machining processes to ensure quality and accuracy
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools and gauges
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow company and safety procedures at all times
• Assist with other shop duties as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of CNC Lathe operating experience
• Experience with Mazak CNC machines preferred
• Experience working with drill pipe is preferred
• Knowledge of rotary shoulder connections is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
• Must be reliable and willing to work overtime and weekends when required
