Machine Operator

Billerica, MA (On site)

Temp-To-Permanent

Pay - generally $23-$28/hour depending on experience

 

Hours - currently on a 4-day work week (10.5 hr days).  Monday – Thursday, Friday is Optional or as needed).

Once we get busy (which we are), we will be looking to go back to Monday – Friday (8 hr days).

 
 
CNC Milling & Lathe Operators
Seeking energetic CNC machinists & operators to join our team as we continue expanding business operations. CR Machine has been family owned and operated for over 50 years. We are conveniently located in Billerica and accessible to all major highways. Our production facility is clean and equipped with world-class technology. We service various industries specializing in stainless steel & high temp alloys. The following positions are available immediately for 1st shift:

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for daily production of CNC machines by means of loading/unloading CNC machines, part inspection and troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret blueprints & drawings.
  • Knowledge of basic measuring tools (ie; micrometers, calipers, indicators & gauges).
  • Maintain quality and safety standards. 
 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years’ experience preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of machining skills. 
  • Must be able to use various inspection tooling such as verniers, micrometers, drop indicators, etc..
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and familiarity with machining concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • The ability to work with others and a good work ethic, required.
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, required.
