We are currently seeking a seasoned CNC Operator to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that requires a unique blend of creativity, technical skills, and a commitment to quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Operator, you will be expected to:
1. Set up and operate 3 axis, 4 axis, and 5 axis CNC machines to produce precision parts.
2. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications and requirements of the product.
3. Use CNC programming to instruct the machine on the production process.
4. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
5. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
6. Collaborate with the design and production teams to optimize production processes.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
8. Keep detailed records of the production process, including any issues or deviations, and report them to the supervisor.
9. Continually seek ways to improve processes and outcomes, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our operations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Operator in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in operating 3 axis, 4 axis, and 5 axis CNC machines.
3. Strong knowledge of CNC programming and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
4. Excellent mechanical skills with a keen eye for detail and precision.
5. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
8. The ability to keep detailed records and report on the production process.
9. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to seek out and implement improvements to processes and outcomes.
