CNC Operator
Heavy Fab Department | Full-Time | $19/hr

We are looking for a Plasma Operator to join our team! This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC plasma machines to cut metal parts to specifications.
Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints and set up machines to cut metal accurately

  • Operate plasma equipment and transfer programs from PC to controller

  • Load and position materials using hoists, cranes, or manually

  • Inspect materials and finished parts for quality and accuracy

  • Perform routine maintenance, replace consumable parts, and keep work areas clean

  • Complete required paperwork and follow all safety procedures
Requirements:

  • Previous CNC or plasma cutting experience preferred (training may be provided)

  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measure)

  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
Work Environment:

  • Industrial shop with moving machinery and loud noise

  • Exposure to heat, fumes, and gases – must follow all safety rules
