CNC Machinist Job Description:

PrideStaff is recruiting for a well known industrial and aerospace manufacturing company who is in search of a CNC Machinist to join their team. The CNC Machinist will set-up, troubleshoot machining issues, running jobs, perform in process inspections, and assist the junior team members as needed. The ideal CNC Machinist has significant experience with multi-axis turning centers, can interpret engineering drawings, and has experience with Swiss style CNC Lathes. The CNC Machinist is a full time, temp to hire position in West Palm Beach, FL.

CNC Machinist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform Full Set-up & Operation on Swiss Lathes & Multi-Axis Turning Centers

• Basic Troubleshoot Machining Issues Including Program Editing, Offset Adjustments, & Process Improvement Recommendations

• Adhere to Maintenance Requirements

• Perform Quality Checks on Final Product Produced

• Assist Team Members With CNC Troubleshooting & Technical Issues

• Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines

CNC Machinist Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

• 5+ Years of CNC Swiss-Style Lathe Experience Required

• Set-up & Operate Multi-Axis Live Tool Turning Centers

• Must be Able to Interpret Engineering Drawings & Blue Prints

• Experience Producing Complex, Close Tolerance Parts

• Understanding of Machine Troubleshooting & Maintenance Requirements

• Experience With Star, Citizen, or Tsugami Machines Required

• Familiar With 5S & Lean Manufacturing Methodologies is a Plus

• Excellent Communication in English & Spanish is a Plus
