We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate our 5-Axis Mill. This position offers an engaging opportunity for experienced CNC machinists committed to precision craftsmanship. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
- Review set up sheets and stage tooling as required to produce parts conforming to customer blueprint and/or purchase order requirements.
- Support planning, production, and programming to implement and optimize machining set-ups and programs.
- Maintain a clean work environment while running machine(s).
- Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency.
- Investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Making off-sets and other adjustments to programs as necessary
Requirements
- Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools or assemblies.
- Blueprint reading skills and appropriate math skills.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing, methods, fabrication processes (i.e., machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, N/C programming, instrumentation and control systems).
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines accurately
- Mechanical knowledge of machining equipment including CNC lathes, milling machines, CNC mills, CNC lathes, power tools, hand tools, tooling setups
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during setup and operation
- Valid experience operating forklifts preferred but not required
- Ability to work night shifts reliably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
