Job Title: CNC Machinist Lead
Pay: $28 - $36 per hour
Hours: 1st Shift, with 10-15 hours of overtime per week

What You’ll Do:
As a CNC Machinist Lead, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
  • Selecting and ensuring the correct use of tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
  • Calibrating machines and monitoring production processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Leading and mentoring junior machinists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conducting quality control inspections and applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
  • Utilizing G-code and M-code programming to optimize machine performance and efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or GED; a technical certification or associate degree in machining is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in CNC milling machine setup and operation.
  • Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and machining practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with quality control and inspection processes.
  • Previous supervisory experience and strong team leadership skills.
