Key Responsibilities:
  • Roll bulky reels onto small rumps and secure them for production.
  • Use calipers to set up machinery for cutting flexible shafts
  • Operate small hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings to shafts.
  • Perform detailed inspections using micrometers and calipers.
  • Accurately record inspection results in the production database.
  • Maintain consistent quality control using micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical school or associate degree preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Experience with machining processes such as press operation, hitch feed, and weld cutting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints with strong attention to detail.
