A bit about us:
The Laser Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of fiber sheet laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts in accordance with drawings, schedules, and quality standards. This role requires experience with laser cutting systems, material handling, nesting, basic programming edits, and in-process quality control in a fast-paced fabrication shop.

Job Details
Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines
Load and unload sheet material using overhead crane, forklift, or sheet lifter
Select correct programs; verify material type, thickness, and cut parameters
Monitor cutting operations to ensure part quality, dimensional accuracy, and efficiency
Perform basic program edits at the machine (lead-ins, cut order, micro-tabs, etc.)
Optimize cut cycles to reduce scrap, prevent tip-ups, and minimize machine downtime
