Join a premier manufacturing organization as a Precision Inspection Specialist on our 2nd shift (initial training on 1st shift required), where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of precision-engineered components. In this full-time, direct hire role, you will leverage your expertise in coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and quality inspection practices to execute First Article Inspections and routine quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CMM equipment to assess and verify the precision of parts against strict engineering standards.
- Perform an array of inspections, including in-process, first article, and final evaluations, to meet client and engineering criteria.
- Utilize an array of precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and height instruments.
- Analyze and interpret detailed engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure thorough product compliance.
- Accurately document inspection findings and maintain essential quality records and certifications.
- Collaborate proactively with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
- Uphold industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001, ensuring comprehensive quality compliance.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and implement corrective measures for product deviations.
- Engage with clients and suppliers on quality expectations and First Article Inspection documentation.
- Execute additional quality assurance roles and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in FAI and CMM operation within aerospace or high-precision manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency in CMM programming using tools like PC-DMIS or Calypso is a significant advantage.
- Deep understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Competency with measuring and inspection devices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings with a high level of accuracy.
- Keen attention to detail and exemplary organizational capability.
- Capacity to thrive in both solitary and bustling work environments.
- Strong communication aptitude for effective interaction with multidisciplinary teams.
- Completion of secondary education or equivalent; further technical training or certifications considered beneficial.
- Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
