Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled CMM Metrologist to join our client's growing manufacturing team in Franklin Park, IL. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in CMM programming, a solid understanding of PC-DMIS software, and a background in GD&T. The successful candidate will play a critical role in quality inspection and precision measurement of manufactured components using advanced metrology tools.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in quality inspection and precision measurement of manufactured components using advanced metrology tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and run CMM programs using PC-DMIS software
- Perform dimensional inspections of components to ensure conformance to customer and engineering specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and GD&T symbols to inspect parts accurately
- Utilize manual and automated inspection tools including gages, micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators
- Document and report inspection results using Excel and internal systems
- Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to troubleshoot and resolve measurement or tolerance issues
- Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability and compliance with internal and external quality standards
- Recommend and assist in developing improvements in inspection processes
