Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Oshkosh, WI (Preferred) or Frederick, MD / McConnellsburg, PA
Pay: $91-$153K with OIP 7 1/2% bonus
Direct Hire Opportunity
- Must be a US citizen.
- Relocation assistance available for candidates not local to Oshkosh, WI.
- Hybrid work model: Three days in-office, two days remote each week at the OSK, WI location.

Interview Process
- Team TA, Teams HR, and in-person with upper management.
- Emphasize driving profitable cloud adoption and innovation.
- Ensure security of cloud environment by implementing security controls, threat protection, and managing identity and access.
- Handle data feeds and integration process for seamless data exchange between systems.
- Assess innovation and vendor alignment for continuous cloud ecosystem build-out and scale.
- Provide infrastructure support to ensure operational excellence, issue resolution, disaster recovery, and data backup standards.
Your Impact
- Provide day-to-day operational support of the Microsoft Azure Gov Cloud ecosystem.
- Streamline installations, configuration, deployments, integrations updates, and administration using Azure Kubernetes, Terraform Enterprise, Github, and equivalent tools.
- Advanced understanding of public and private clouds, IaaS, data security standards, system messaging, and data feeds.
- Conduct triage and resolution of cloud ecosystem issues and outages.
- Active member of project teams following senior leadership design and project plans.
- Cross-functional team communication and coordination for server, storage, support, database, security, etc.
- Learning and adopting new technologies and best practices across cloud, continuous integration, automation, and process improvement.
- Continuously monitor and analyze cloud ecosystem and performance.
- Advanced knowledge in one of the primary cloud ecosystems (database, virtualization, containerization, DevOps, networking, servers, scripting, etc.).
- Cross-functional team communication and coordination for database, applications, and infrastructure activities.
- Intimate knowledge of the ITIL process, ticket resolution, and stakeholder response.
- Design, implement, and operate complex solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance is required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, scripting, deployment, integration, messaging, automation, and orchestration.
- Written and communication skills, problem-solving, time management, teamwork, detail-oriented, and customer service.
Standout Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
