Starting Salary $80,000-$85,000 (Negotiable based on experience) +$2,500 RD sign-on bonus

Principal Duties & Responsibilities - Essential Functions
Training, Monitoring, Hiring Staff
Complete/conduct ongoing training for dietetic staff and provide educational opportunities for professional development.
Lead and manage ambassador team member recruiting, hiring, training, and development.
Provide leadership that supports a team environment fostering morale, passion, quality, and respect.
Perform daily inspections and assessments of dining operations and coach team members
Conduct annual staff evaluations according to procedures and within the expected time frame.
Maintain and enforce disciplinary policy and follow through on procedures.
Complete the work schedule to ensure adequate coverage for all FNS functions.
Patient/Resident Satisfaction
Develop and monitor evaluation processes for patient/resident satisfaction.
Coordinate and evaluate patient/resident food/dining service standards to ensure patient/resident satisfaction with meals and nourishment; initiate action to correct any problems.
Ensure processes are followed, initiate performance improvement within trouble areas.
Manage and control resources and materials to ensure the high-quality of service delivery and adequacy of supplies: Resources and materials may include patient menus: tray mats, tents, and napkins: satisfaction surveys, and nutritional supplements.
Monitor inventory and ensure appropriate stock levels for patient/resident care delivery.
Development and Guidance
Develop and provide guidance and training tools for FNS and facility staff.
Implement and Maintain the Ambassador Programs
Educate staff, nursing, food service employees on issues regarding special diets/formulas.
Attend patient/resident rounds on assigned units
Review/approve menu, formularies, substitutions, or changes.
Clinical Program Management/Nutrition Assessments & Follow-Ups for Patients/Residents
Complete nutrition assessments and follow-ups for individuals with increased nutritional needs in accordance with facility policies.
Document assessment of nutritional goals and/or changes in status in the medical record.
Educate individuals and/or their family members on nutritional needs as indicated.
Attend patient/resident rounds on assigned floors.
Inform nursing and physician of changes in patient/resident nutritional status
Create, implement, train, and monitor nutritional programs related to areas of specialty to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance
Collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve operational and clinical goals.
Partner with multidisciplinary team to optimize individual care.
Provide nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy to individuals via approved telehealth platforms, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, state licensure regulations, and organizational policies as directed.

Requirements
Registered Dietitian with the Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or related field
Knowledge of regulatory standards
Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software
