We are seeking a PRN LPN or Certified Medical Assistant to support our clinic with referrals, prior authorizations, patient coordination, and occasional direct patient care. This role is perfect for someone detail‑oriented with excellent communication skills who enjoys both administrative and clinical responsibilities.

What You'll Do

In this important role, you will:

  • Handle all outgoing clinical referrals and ensure each is complete, accurate, and sent timely.
  • Manage prior authorizations, working directly with insurance companies and patients.
  • Fax records, schedule testing, and coordinate appointments across multiple specialties.
  • Prioritize urgent needs and keep the referral workflow running smoothly.
  • Step in as an LPN/Medical Assistant as needed for patient care, including:
    • Vital signs
    • Patient interviews
    • Assisting providers
    • Basic first aid
    • Routine lab specimen collection
    • Injection/nurse visit support (under licensed provider direction)
  • Keep treatment rooms clean, safe, and ready for patient visits.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant patient documentation.
  • Support infection control protocols and clinic policies.
  • Assist patients with ambulation and use of assistive devices when needed.
  • Adapt positively to changing needs and provide guidance to team members when appropriate.

Education & Credentials

  • Graduate of an LPN program or Certified Medical Assistant program
  • BLS Certification required
  • Active LPN License or CMA Certification

Experience

  • 1 year of clinical experience strongly preferred
