Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager

Bishop & Co. is seeking top talent for a well-respected CPA firm to find an experienced Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager to lead a team of professionals serving a diverse portfolio of clients. This leadership role involves overseeing client engagements, reviewing work for accuracy, managing staff development, and actively contributing to the growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Manage multiple accounting engagements and client relationships
  
• 
  Supervise and mentor CAS Associates and Senior Associates
  
• 
  Review financial statements, general excise tax filings, and 1099s
  
• 
  Handle technical accounting questions and provide client guidance
  
• 
  Lead client onboarding, proposals, pricing, and engagement letters
  
• 
  Train staff and lead internal educational programs
  
• 
  Ensure workflow efficiency, quality control, and timely delivery
  
• 
  Participate in firm marketing efforts and represent the firm in the business community
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  
• 
  Supervisory experience in an accounting setting
  
• 
  Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting principles
  
• 
  QuickBooks Online certification (required)
  
• 
  Excellent time management, communication, and client service skills
  
• 
  Ability to oversee complex projects and drive results
  
• 
  Experience with accounting tools such as QuickBooks (Online/Desktop), Excel, and CCH
  
• 
  Professional growth mindset with interest in pursuing CPA licensure (optional but encouraged)
