The Clearing Risk team is responsible for monitoring, managing, and reporting risk across correspondent broker-dealers, direct clients, and prime clients, with a focus on equities, equity options, and fixed income repo activity. The team oversees key risk areas including market, liquidity, and credit risk.
As the firm continues its rapid growth, the Risk team is expanding to support increased business activity and client complexity. This role will focus primarily on correspondent risk, while also supporting oversight of direct client trading activity.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze exposure across correspondent clearing broker-dealers
Serve as a second line of defense in risk oversight for correspondent accounts
Assist in monitoring direct client trading activity, including active/day trading positions
Evaluate risk across equities and equity options portfolios
Support ongoing risk reporting and escalation of material exposures
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Client Series 7 and/or Series 57 licenses (preferred)
Working knowledge of equity and equity options risk
