Pay Rate: $15.50/hour
Shift: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers to support students—especially those with special needs or learning challenges—helping them thrive academically and personally. Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, including those with IEPs or special needs
Help students complete assignments and projects, ensuring engagement and understanding
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor student progress and behavior, documenting observations as needed
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement strategies for student success
Assist with classroom organization, materials, and resources
Support students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other non-instructional periods
Participate in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings preferred
Familiarity with special education principles or willingness to learn
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
Ability to follow directions, work independently, and collaborate effectively
Flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students and adapt to changing priorities
Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology preferred
