Class C Non‑CDL Straight Truck Route Driver (Local P&D)

Make Local Deliveries That Keep Production Moving

Based in Wood Dale, IL, you’ll operate a 26' straight truck to shuttle materials between our plants and customers Monday–Friday, with overtime available. You’ll report to the Shipping and Receiving Manager and serve as the trusted connector ensuring every delivery is accurate, safe, and on time.

A day in the life

You begin with a walk‑around inspection of your truck, noting any wear and promptly flagging unsafe conditions. On the dock, you load material and finished goods—sometimes with a pallet jack or forklift—and secure freight for each destination. With your scan gun in hand, you track every move so inventory records stay precise. Out on local routes, you navigate to plants and customer sites, gather signatures, verify counts, and return picked‑up items back to the warehouse. As the day wraps, you complete final scans, unload returns, and prepare for the next run—plus lend a hand on other assigned tasks.

What you’ll handle

• Safely operate a 26' straight truck for local transportation of material, finished goods, and equipment
• Manually load and unload using a pallet jack or forklift
• Verify loads are properly secured and matched to each building or customer
• Obtain delivery receipts/signatures and confirm accuracy of deliveries
• Return picked‑up items to the warehouse and complete all scans
• Inspect vehicle condition each day; report unsafe conditions to your supervisor
• Use scan guns to properly track material movement
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you bring

• 3 years of Class C driving experience; Class C required (Non‑CDL)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Clear, professional communication with customers, supervisors, and teammates
• Delivery and warehouse experience preferred
• Conditional offer upon Motor Vehicle Report
