Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster (Hawaii) – Remote/Hybrid

Location: Kapolei, HI (Hybrid if local | Remote option if you are located in any other island)

Salary : $70k-$80K if CEII 3 years of experience

Salary: $85k-$95K if CEIII 5 years of experience

Overview
Leading Third-Party Administrator is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to manage claims from intake through resolution. This role requires strong knowledge of Hawaii workers’ comp regulations and the ability to handle complex, litigated claims independently.

Must-Have Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation claims (indemnity + medical)

• Investigate claims, determine compensability, and administer benefits per Hawaii regulations

• Handle medical management, reserves, and settlements within authority

• Maintain accurate documentation, claim strategies, and diary management

• Communicate with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and clients

• Manage litigated claims and partner with defense counsel (hearings, mediations, settlements)

Must-Have Qualifications

• Hawaii Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License (REQUIRED)

• 3–5+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience

• Experience handling indemnity and litigated claims

• Strong knowledge of workers’ comp laws, regulations, and medical terminology

• Ability to manage claims independently from start to finish

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with complex/catastrophic claims

• Multi-jurisdictional claims exposure

• Microsoft Office proficiency
