A civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to support pavement preservation projects. This role is responsible for ensuring all work meets contract specifications, quality standards, and agency requirements.

Job Summary
The Quality Control Manager will oversee inspection, testing, documentation, and reporting related to pavement preservation operations while coordinating closely with field supervision and project management.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage the project quality control program
Perform inspections and verification of pavement preservation work including crack sealing, slurry seal, microsurfacing, and surface treatments
Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and applicable standards
Document inspections, test results, corrective actions, and daily quality reports
Coordinate with inspectors, laboratories, and agency representatives
Identify quality issues and work with field teams to resolve them promptly
Maintain complete and accurate QC records for project closeout
Support final inspections and acceptance

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in pavement preservation, roadway construction, or quality control
Strong knowledge of pavement preservation materials, methods, and quality standards
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Proficient in Foundations software for quality control documentation and reporting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and ability to work on active job sites

Preferred Qualifications
QCM or QC certification from a DOT or recognized agency
NICET, ACI, or other construction-related certifications
Experience working on DOT or federally funded roadway projects
