Introduction
Join our team as a seasoned technical resource, participating in the design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities. You will work on OS technical support, systems programming, and data center capabilities. This role involves handling complex engineering and analytical tasks, establishing input/output processes, and coordinating subsystems design and integration. You will be a key contributor, providing technical knowledge and capabilities as both a team member and an individual contributor. While you will not have direct reports, you will influence and direct team activities related to special initiatives or operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in virtualization and EUC fields as an engineer, with a focus on architecture and design.
- Skilled in managing and supporting large corporate environments with 100,000 endpoints.
- Expertise in designing and managing Citrix environments, including handling 40,000 concurrent users.
- Proficient in operating, optimizing, and expanding virtual infrastructure using Citrix and client technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and PowerCLI scripting abilities for managing virtual machines and environments.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Citrix policy engine experience
- F5 Gateway APM function and configuration understanding
- Thorough understanding of platform performance analysis, telemetry, and performance-related troubleshooting
- Undergraduate degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end and administration duties for critical banking platforms, delivering middleware infrastructure for enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives
- Ensure production stability, platform remediation, patching, and upgrades, mitigating and managing risk
- Collaborate with customers on a daily basis providing middleware advice, consultation, and support
- Create, maintain, and support application deployment templates
- Design Middleware infrastructure and topology for high availability and failover capability
- Provide technical consultation to other team members and their supported areas
- Communicate with business partners at an enterprise level
- Interface with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle
- Execute production changes for integrated and regulatory releases with precision
