Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, Public Relations (PR), or content development supporting brand activations, influencer marketing, or content partnerships.
  • Experience with execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience collecting, synthesizing, and reporting on data to inform campaign performance.
  • Experience program managing timelines and deliverables for cross-functional, cross-team or external agency partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in campaign and media planning from brief to production and post-launch analysis.
  • Experience utilizing market research and performance metrics to enhance campaign execution.
  • Experience in consumer technology or creative agencies with a focus on activation, influencer, or branded content.
  • Ability to approach problems with a structured, data-informed methodology and work in a fluid environment with minimal assistance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally.
  • Passion for culture, design, and emerging technology trends.

As part of the Platforms & Devices (P&D) marketing team (7+ brands including Android, Chrome, Google Play and Pixel), we are motivated to find the best ways for our brands to resonate in culture and engage with our audiences beyond traditional media. As a Chrome Activation and Engagement Manager, you will partner with Brand Management, Social Media teams, Product Marketing Manager(PMM) teams, and other cross-functional partners to execute on brand partnership and activation programs for Chrome. You will deliver full funnel paid/owned/earned programs, focusing on execution and tracking performance against core business and brand objectives.You will support cross-functional leads by developing insights and thorough analysis to ensure that programs and investments are integrated, culturally relevant, and effective. You will help oversee our agency partners to deliver excellent brand work (including driving strategy through to execution and program management). You will research and monitor local and global cultural trends to identify opportunities and harness those trends to our advantage to drive brand relevance and engagement for Chrome.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Execute culturally relevant and engaging Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for Chrome activation workstreams, ensuring flawless delivery across Brand, Product, and Culture-led marketing initiatives.
  • Support the development of the direction and strategy for Chrome brand sponsorships and content partnerships by gathering audience data and conducting analysis.
  • Manage the day-to-day coordination with agency partners to ensure authentic, resonant and creative work is delivered on time.
  • Adhere to and implement Google's Talent and Influencer process, ensuring all programs are compliant and tracked.
  • Contribute to annual Activation and Engagement (A&E) planning strategy and budget management by tracking current spending, preparing performance reports, and providing data-driven recommendations to Brand and PMM Leads.
