Position Overview
Our growing financial services client is seeking a forward-thinking Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead enterprise technology strategy and innovation. This executive role is responsible for shaping the organization's technology vision while ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient systems that support long-term growth and an exceptional client experience.
The CTO will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, driving digital transformation initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on cybersecurity, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & InnovationDevelop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business goals
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI, automation, and fintech solutions
Drive innovation to enhance digital services and improve overall user experience
Cybersecurity & Risk ManagementLead enterprise cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring robust protection of systems and data
Oversee risk management, governance, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Ensure all technology practices align with industry standards and security frameworks
IT Operations & InfrastructureOversee all IT functions including infrastructure, cloud environments, networks, and service delivery
Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and optimized for performance
Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships
Data & AnalyticsSupport the development of data systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence capabilities
Leverage analytics to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements
Leadership & CollaborationLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team
Partner with cross-functional leaders to align technology initiatives with business needs
Translate technical strategies into measurable business outcomes


QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
7-10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within financial services or a regulated industry
Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and data governance
Experience driving digital transformation and implementing emerging technologies
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial environments
Proven ability to manage technology budgets and align investments with strategic goals
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
