PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To meet CES Credit Union members' needs by assisting the CEO in the overall management of CES.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS:

1. Delivers outstanding member service by:
a. Assist in directing all credit union operations, which include planning, recommending, and implementing programs and policies, and providing general administrative direction;
b. Serve as operations and strategic leader, and provides guidance to ensure key initiatives, program regulations, performance outcomes and operations are managed appropriately, in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws;
c. Manage, develop, coach, and retain a high performing staff. Evaluate performance of team member for execution of goals as well as compliance with company policies
d. Oversee the development and monitoring of performance standards. Provide mentoring and coaching to support and develop managers and staff
e. Ensure that the CEO is kept fully informed on the conditions and operations of CES and of important factors influencing them: attend board meetings and act as sitting member on various committees.

2.Oversees efficient operations by:
a. Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements that enhance member service
b. Collaborates with leadership team to synchronize tasks across the organization and direct prioritization by developing and implementing plans, policies, systems, processes and staff development to accomplish the vision and improve overall operations and effectiveness of the organization
c. Evaluate all areas of organizational performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data metrics: recommend improvements where needed
d. Evaluate data pertaining to costs to plan budgets, controlling facility costs and assist in contract negotiations.

3.Executes competent security procedures by:
a. Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, and loans and in order to ensure safekeeping
b. Manage backup, security and user help system
c. Serve as Security Officer by training and reinforcing security policies and procedures to ensure security and safety of each branch.

4. Understands compliance issues and attends seminars as they relate to this position.

a. Bank Secrecy Act/USA PATRIOT Act/OFAC
b. Consumer Credit Protection
c. Privacy
d. Consumer Credit Protection Laws
e. Real Estate Lending
f. HMDA

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OF:
  • Knowledge of business management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, and personnel information systems.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic and their applications.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
  • Knowledge of economic and the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
