Chief Flight Instructor - CSIP in Pompano Beach, FL - Dare To Dream Aviation, LLC. Job Duties: Provide comprehensive ground and flight instruction in accordance with FAA regulations and Cirrus training standards. Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and curriculum for private, instrument, commercial, and transition students. Evaluate student progress through detailed performance assessments and in-depth ground instruction. Utilize scenario-based training methods to enhance student proficiency in technically advanced aircraft (TAA). Maintain detailed records of student training, flight hours, and certifications. Emphasize safety, risk management, and best practices during all instructional activities. Conduct training sessions and seminars for other flight instructors to ensure standardization. Oversee the scheduling and management of flight lessons to optimize training efficiency. Act as a subject matter expert on Cirrus and Diamond aircraft for training purposes. Ensure the training environment and materials are up-to-date and compliant with industry regulations. Minimum Job Requirements: 24 months of training in Professional pilot program and/or related field + 24 months of experience as Flight instructor, in a related teaching capacity, and/or in a related flight position. Required License/ Certification: Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), Cirrus Instructor Pilot (CSIP). A foreign license or certification is acceptable. Special Skills: Proven experience in a flight instruction leadership role. Expertise in scenario-based training and risk management. Proficiency in utilizing a technically advanced aircraft (TAA) for instruction. The travel required for this position is regional and occasional, and it is essential for performing the specified duties. It would not involve typical, extended travel of an airline pilot, as the position is based at the company's primary office location.
