Chicago-Based Running / Marathon Athletes

The Desire Company is seeking experienced Chicago-based Runners and Marathon Athletes to participate in paid brand projects with leading athletic and wellness brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your training experience and performance knowledge to create impactful content that helps shoppers make confident purchase decisions.

Project Overview:

• Filming Location: Chicago, IL (local athletes preferred)
• Time on Set: Approximately 3–5 hours (half-day; subject to change)
• Final Deliverables: 1 Product Recommendation Video per project
• Pay: Starting at $1,500

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert insights related to running, endurance training, performance, or recovery.
• Participate in a brief pre-production call to align on goals and expectations.
• Collaborate with our production crew during on-site filming sessions.
• Share professional recommendations in an engaging and relatable manner.

How It Works:
Once you express your interest, we will present you to various brand partners for potential selection. If chosen, we’ll schedule a pre-production call to discuss project goals and logistics before moving into the filming phase.

Once you express interest, we will pitch you to relevant brand and retail partners. If selected, we’ll coordinate next steps and a pre-production conversation prior to filming.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of consistent experience in distance running, endurance training, or competitive marathon participation.
• Strong understanding of running gear, performance products, recovery tools, or related equipment within your area of expertise, and the ability to assess and communicate their value to consumers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
• Experience in media production or public speaking is a plus.
• Must be located in the Chicago area.
