Job Details
The Metal Finishing Operator is responsible daily production schedule and ensuring optimal quality for all work completed.
Hours: 1st shift 6am-330pm
Days: Monday-Friday
Job Requirements:
- Work closely with production staff to support process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain accountability for attendance, punctuality, and adherence to workplace standards.
- Communicate quality concerns or operational issues to management in a timely manner.
- Assist with in‑process inspections and documentation as required across operations.
- Complete and maintain work documentation to support traceability and compliance.
- Perform routine processing tasks within established procedures and work instructions.
- Use standard inspection and measurement tools to verify product conformance.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read basic sketches and blueprints and use standard inspection and measurement tools.
- Detail‑oriented, dependable team player with a positive attitude and strong attendance habits.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision after training is completed.
- Basic understanding of lean principles, efficiency methods, and continuous improvement concepts.
