Job Summary

Join our engineering design team to work on high-tech industrial manufacturing facility projects. You will create piping models and equipment layout models in 3D software under the guidance of Lead Designers. Collaborate with other piping designers and different disciplines to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Create 3D piping and equipment layout models.
  • Coordinate with other designers and disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural.
  • Work with a team of designers, drafters, and engineers to develop comprehensive 3D piping plans.

Qualifications

  • Motivated, self-starting Process Piping Designer with a minimum of 10 years' experience in process and mechanical equipment layout and associated piping design.
  • Advanced user of CADWorx or Revit 3D design software and Navisworks.
  • Well-organized with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with process mechanical piping systems, industrial waste, and high purity water systems is a plus.
  • Microelectronics (Semiconductor) experience is a plus.
  • Experience with pipe installation details and pipe supports is a plus.
  • Education can be waived in lieu of experience.

Location and Schedule

While hybrid candidates are preferred, with a 2-day per week in-office schedule in Portland, OR, Phoenix, AZ, Pittsburgh, PA, or Boise, ID, remote candidates who meet the job description are also considered.
