**About the Role

**

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Coating Lab Technician to support the daily operation, chemical control, and maintenance of our industrial coating system. This position plays a key role in ensuring consistent product quality, proper chemical balance, and reliable system performance within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities

**

• Monitor and manage all stages of the coating system to maintain consistent, high‑quality production results.

• Perform routine chemical titrations and use data to keep system parameters within recommended operating ranges.

• Troubleshoot process or equipment issues and take corrective action to prevent product or process non‑conformities.

• Communicate findings to operators and verify that corrective actions are carried out effectively.

• Select and apply efficient coating methods that reduce material waste and support cost‑effective operations.

• Record test results, maintain logs, and enter data into Excel to track chemical usage and quality trends.

• Oversee the overall performance of the coating system to ensure smooth, reliable operation.

• Maintain compliance with customer specifications, internal procedures, and quality standards, including ISO and IATF.

• Review SDS documentation and use appropriate PPE for all chemicals and processes.

• Manage chemical inventory, monitor stock levels, and notify leadership when materials need to be reordered.

**Qualifications

**

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Reliable work ethic and attention to detail

• Forklift experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
