About the Role

As a Charity Fundraising Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our Fundraising and Marketing & Communications teams, helping process donations, maintain donor records, and ensure excellent customer care. You’ll work closely with management and the communications team, supporting a variety of tasks and fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external fundraising inquiries
• Deliver high-level customer care, acknowledging and thanking donors promptly
• Collaborate with management and communications teams to prepare and send engaging donor communications
• Support fundraising and promotional events, including planning, logistics, and on-the-day execution
• Maintain and update the donor database, providing training and support to colleagues
• Perform data entry, reporting, and database management tasks
• Help the fundraising team prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Stay informed on fundraising initiatives and trends across the nonprofit sector
• Introduce new ideas and initiatives, taking ownership of your work
