GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Channel Partner Manager is responsible for helping define and execute the indirect (GTM) strategy, building and scaling a comprehensive partner program, and driving measurable results. This role works closely with the CRO to align goals and strategic direction, while managing relationships with existing partners and actively identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new partners.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and execution of the indirect go-to-market (GTM) strategy focused on cybersecurity, risk, and compliance service offerings.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard value-added resellers (VARs), MSSPs, consulting firms, and technology alliance partners within the cybersecurity ecosystem.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned partners to drive pipeline development, co-selling opportunities, and revenue growth.
- Educate partners on cybersecurity frameworks, audit readiness services, compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI), and advisory offerings to ensure accurate positioning in the market.
- Collaborate closely with the CRO and Sales Leadership to align partner-driven opportunities with overall revenue targets.
- Support partner enablement initiatives, including training sessions, sales collateral distribution, and joint marketing efforts.
- Assist partners in navigating the sales cycle, including opportunity qualification, scoping discussions, and proposal coordination.
- Track partner performance metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue contribution; provide regular reporting to leadership.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and successful client engagements.
- Maintain partner documentation, agreements, and CRM updates to ensure visibility and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed on cybersecurity industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging compliance requirements to identify new partnership opportunities.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in partner management, channel sales, business development, account executive, client success or account management.
- Experience with cybersecurity, Audit firms, GRC tools, IT services, or compliance-focused organizations.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing indirect partner relationships (e.g., GRC Tools, MSPs, vCISOS, VARs, MSSPs, consulting firms, technology alliances).
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST, or similar regulatory environments.
- Experience supporting or contributing to a go-to-market (GTM) strategy within a technology or professional services organization.
- Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle, including pipeline development, opportunity qualification, and co-selling motions.
- Ability to translate technical cybersecurity concepts into clear value propositions for partners and their clients.
- Proven ability to drive partner engagement and pipeline growth while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams.
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track pipeline and partner performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously.
