Responsibilities:
As the CFO, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and risk management.
2. Leading the development and execution of effective financial strategies that support our business objectives.
3. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
4. Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
5. Evaluating and advising on the financial impact of long-range planning and introduction of new strategies.
6. Enhancing and/or developing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
7. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
8. Providing executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
9. Managing processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the company.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent CFO role will possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or relevant certification (such as CPA) is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably within the Food Manufacturing and Food Distribution sectors, as well as experience working for a Privat Equity backed company.
3. Proven experience in financial planning, risk management, and financial strategy development.
4. Exceptional knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
6. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner.
7. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
8. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
9. Strong knowledge of financial laws and guidelines.
