Senior Tax Preparer / Accountant

Compensation: $35–$40/hour + Bonus Potential + comprehensive benefits
Location: Upland, CA - On-Site
Schedule: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (flexible start/end times)
Summary: Looking to take the next step in your tax career with a well-respected, client-focused firm? Our client, a long-standing tax and accounting firm in Upland, is seeking a skilled Senior Tax Preparer and Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site role offering direct hire placement, a stable client base, and opportunities for long-term professional growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare a wide range of tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit
• Manage complex returns involving investments, rentals, and pass-through entities
• Work directly with clients to provide personalized tax guidance and year-round financial support
• Assist with general accounting and bookkeeping tasks as needed
• Rotate between Upland and Hesperia offices as required

• 5–10 years of recent tax preparation experience
• CTEC certification (required); Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred
• Background in accounting or bookkeeping
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and client service
• Ability to work overtime during tax season
