About the Role

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a specialized Pediatric Cardiovascular OR team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong pediatric cardiac experience who thrive in high-acuity surgical environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub duties for pediatric cardiac procedures following AORN/AST standards
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical equipment
• Manage case carts, surgeon preference cards, and OR readiness
• Ensure efficient room turnover and support surgical team workflow
• Operate sterilization and specialty equipment per protocol
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years Pediatric Heart Surgery experience (REQUIRED)
  • At least 2 years total Surgical Technologist experience
• Education: Accredited Surgical Technology program or military equivalent
• Certification: CST (Required)
• BLS: American Heart Association (AHA) required
• On-Call: Approx. 10 days/month (including weekends)
• Location Requirement: Must live within 1 hour for call response
