Schedule: Day Shift l Full Time

• Maximize surgical precision by expertly positioning patients and utilizing stabilizing equipment to ensure optimal site exposure while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

• Lead operative site visualization by skillfully manipulating tissue and managing materials through retraction and irrigation, providing the surgeon with a clear and focused field.

• Master surgical hemostasis by applying advanced techniques to control bleeding, a critical factor in maintaining patient stability and achieving successful clinical outcomes.

• Facilitate surgical closure by assisting with body plane suturing and the meticulous application of dressings and drainage systems to promote secure and healthy healing.

• Prepare the theater for excellence by collaborating with the surgical team to equip the suite with the exact instruments and resources required for each unique procedure.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Assistant Surgical Assistant specializing in Surgery credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
