Certified Surg Tech – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or national certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• BLS Certification.
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment. Experience with inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume hospital operating room preferred, including exposure to general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, robotics, vascular, and cardiothoracic procedures.
• NH Medical Technician registration or ability to apply upon acceptance as required by the client.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0700-1900.
• Schedule: 3x12 shifts.
• Assignment Type: Travel contract. Duration: 13 Week assignment.
• On-call/shift obligations: May include 4–5 shift or on-call obligations outside scheduled shifts during the contract, including potential weekday nights and weekend day/night coverage.
