Required Skills:
- NBCRNA Certification and SC State Licensure
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia-related experience
- Proficiency in anesthesia procedures and equipment
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to respond promptly to call-back requirements within 30-45 minutes
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Exposure to a variety of clinical settings such as general, OB-GYN, ENT, and orthopedics
- Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and support staff coordination
- Prior experience managing diverse patient ages (15-100)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia
- Active certification from the NBCRNA
- Proven track record in a hospital or surgical center environment
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Home call duty once every two weeks, including 24-hour weekend call with response times within 30-45 minutes
- Call-back payments and flat rates for weeknight, 24-hour, and holiday shifts
- Vaccinations in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Supportive of credentialing and privileging processes; licensing in South Carolina required
- Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable when relevant
