Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Join our dedicated team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care across diverse settings. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work in a reputable hospital and multiple ambulatory surgery centers within the Lexington area, providing challenging cases and collaborative support in a fast-paced environment. With a flexible start date of June 22, 2026, this role is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking meaningful work and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia procedures for approximately 150 patients daily across main OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, OB, MRI, and other specialized sites.
  • Support a large department of 70 CRNAs and 15 anesthesiologists, working within a Medical Direction Care Team model.
  • Rotate weekly to ambulatory surgery centers located in Lexington, Irmo, and Northeast Columbia, with the possibility of traveling up to once or twice per week.
  • Support staff includes anesthesia techs; utilize equipment such as Glidescopes, Alaris IV pumps, and Draeger anesthesia machines.
  • Work hours include a 40-hour week with schedule options of 5x8s, 3x12s, or 4x10s, and must be able to work consistently four weeks per month.
  • Be flexible with shifts and ready to adapt as case finish times may vary, potentially requiring travel back to the main hospital.

Required Skills:
  • Valid and current Board Certification as a CRNA.
  • Active state license or valid compact license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in anesthesia.
  • Certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred.
  • Experience with EMR systems, ideally Epic.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Proficiency with advanced anesthesia equipment and technology.
  • Experience working in hospital and outpatient settings.
  • Flexibility to travel within the Lexington area.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia.
  • At least 2 years of anesthesia practice experience in similar clinical settings.

Other Requirements:
  • Willing to obtain necessary state licensure or re-licensure.
  • Availability to start on or around June 22, 2026.
  • Ability to work full-time, consistently four weeks per month.
